For the last 5 years, Select Skills has sponsored the Jr. Reds Middle School Teams in the MSDHL Middle School League.   The half season starts in December and ends in March.  All players must be of middle school age and can be from any town.  This season, we will be sponsoring 2 teams.

Congratulations to Select Skills Instructor Colin Blackwell for being selected in the NHL draft this weekend by the San Jose Sharks.  Colin recently finished a great career at St John's Prep and is looking forward to continued success at Harvard next Fall.  Congratualtions Colin!

Congratulations to the 2010-11 Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins and to my former teammate Tim Thomas!  Last night, we witnessed an unbelievable goaltender and and even better person.  Even as he was in the midst of winning a Stanley Cup and accepting the MVP award last night, he was humble and reminded us of the most important things in life: family and hard work.  He traveled a long hard road filled with highs and lows and he earned all of that success last night.

In a world filled with rockstar athletes, Timmy demonstrated what a professional athlete and true role model is.  

GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE WHO WORK HARD.
