The Melrose High School hockey coach Jason Shipulski is again reaping the rewards of the Jr. Reds middle school development team.  From last years Jr Red's team, 3 freshman players stepped right into Varsity spots this season.  Max Karelis, Cam McGuire & Connor Tryder earned their spots and are expected to contribute right away.   

The Jr. Reds was established to help prepare the middle school players for what will be expected of them at the high school level.  Whether it is an increased  concentration on systems play, individual responsibilites, or discipline, the Jr Reds players will be ready for the next level of expectations.
